First-redemption workbook for Australian reward sites

Free resource · Blank .xlsx workbook · Version 1.0 · 2 October 2026

Keep a private record of the time you spend on one reward site, the credit it shows and the first reward you actually receive. This manual workbook helps you separate published expectations from your own experience.

File size: 11 KB. Native Excel testing has not been completed; see the compatibility limits below.

No email signup, referral code or account connection is required. The download is a blank template with two sheets and 40 session rows.

Check cash received against your time

Put the AUD cash you actually received beside all the related time. Use one provider and the same set of sessions, including screening, unsuccessful attempts, setup and admin. Count each minute once.

Leave out pending credit, points, available-balance snapshots, gift cards and foreign-currency amounts. No exchange rate or future income is estimated.

Your entries and result stay inside this isolated calculator; its code does not send or save them. The surrounding page still uses site analytics. Browser features and extensions are outside the calculator's control.

The calculator is a separate scrollable panel. Tab moves through its controls and back to this page. You can also skip to the formula without using the calculator.

Calculate it yourself

Total minutes = task minutes + screening minutes + setup and admin minutes.

Cash received per recorded hour = confirmed AUD cash ÷ (total minutes ÷ 60).

For arithmetic illustration only: AUD 10 received for 35 task minutes, 10 screening minutes and 5 admin minutes gives AUD 12 per recorded hour. This is not an earnings expectation.

Use confirmed values and positive total time. An unknown is not zero. Cash means the actual AUD receipt after fees already deducted; do not deduct those fees again. Separate expenses, separately paid fees and tax are not deducted, so this is not profit or financial advice.

The calculator rounds to two decimal places; positive rates below one cent show “Less than AUD 0.01”. Your result describes only your record, not a typical or guaranteed earning rate. Continue with the workbook instructions below.

Start with one provider and one reward method

  1. Save a private copy. Use one workbook per provider. Enter the provider name only. The amber cells are for your entries; grey cells contain formulas.
  2. Check the published rules. On Provider checks, record the minimum and its unit, your chosen reward method, the processing-time wording, the public source URL and the date you checked it. Preserve wording such as “business days”. Check whether that method is available to your Australian account.
  3. Record each session. On Log, include profile setup, screening, tasks and account administration in your minutes, even when no reward clears. Record screen-outs too. Enter 0 for a measured zero; leave an unknown blank.
  4. Keep the stages separate. Record a request when you make it, the provider’s sent date when it reports one, and receipt only when you independently observe the reward arriving.

Do the readiness checks against the provider’s current requirements. A completed check record does not guarantee eligibility, processing time or payment.

Understand the numbers you enter

  • Pending balance: credit the provider has not yet made available.
  • Available balance: the balance shown as available at that point. It can still be subject to redemption rules.
  • Requested value: what you ask to redeem, with its stated unit, such as points or AUD.
  • Amount or face value received: what arrives. Record its currency and distinguish cash from a gift card’s face value.

Balances are optional snapshots, not earnings to add together. If the available balance is AUD 5 on Monday and AUD 7 on Tuesday, those snapshots do not establish AUD 12 earned. Keep units explicit and compare the redemption minimum with the available balance in the same unit.

Review missing entries before drawing conclusions

The summary totals recorded minutes and screen-outs, and counts started session rows. The Entry check column flags rows needing attention. Missing time can understate your total. A “No receipt logged” status means no receipt has been logged; it does not establish what happened outside the workbook.

There are 40 session rows. If you extend the log, copy a row with its formula and expand the summary ranges in C8:C11. Keep an untouched copy of the original template.

Keep your completed copy private

The workbook has no account connection or upload feature. Keep your completed copy offline if you do not want it stored by a cloud spreadsheet or sync service.

Do not enter passwords, account IDs, email addresses, phone numbers, bank details, identity documents or referral codes. For verification checks, record status only. Submit any documents the provider requires only through its official process.

What this workbook can and cannot tell you

This is a user-maintained record, not an automatic tracker, a payout guarantee or a representative earnings study. It does not calculate a typical earning rate. One person’s result cannot establish what another reader will earn.

The file contains no macros or external data connections. Formula checks covered blank, zero and partial entries. Native Excel testing has not been completed, so check the formulas and displayed results in your chosen spreadsheet app before relying on them.
